Global Telemetrics S5 + IMOB tracker for a 1983 Volkswagen Mk1 Golf
The customer based in Warwickshire wanted to protect his Volkswagen Mk1 Golf 1983 from theft and opted for the subscription based, insurance approved Smartrack / Global Telemetrics S5 + IMOB tracker.
This particular tracker is a No Card No Start tracker / immobiliser combined. The bluetooth card is kept on your person and the vehicle will only start when the relevant card is present within the vehicle. The handy App allows for live tracking as well as previous journeys, which includes speed, vehicle battery voltage and route taken etc.
This tracker also has battery disconnect alarms as well as tow away protection and is monitored 24/7 by the control room who notify you/Police of any alerts with your vehicle.
The customer also decided to forensically mark the vehicle with a Datatag Forensic marking kit, meaning even if the worst was to happen, all of the parts are marked and are themselves traceable back to the owner.
Packages vary from £399 - £799 with a range of insurance approved trackers as well as immobillisers available.
