Ford Fiesta 2011 spare key
Spare keys can be essential to prevent costly All Keys Lost services.
This customer had 1 key which the blade was about to snap out of.
I was able to copy the existing blade and in this case copy over the transponder using my Xhorse Key tool plus. The copying of the transponder in this case was straight forward. The remote however was not straight forward!
This particular vehicle allows for new remotes to be manually programmed. In this case I had to cycle the ignition 4 times before it enters programming mode where I attempted to programme the OEM remote I had ordered. It accepted the remote but unfortunately it didn’t actually work! I had to revert to a second after market remote, generated with my Xhorse key tool plus.
This worked well and I even repaired the old key for the customer.
